Labradar with a suppressor?

I swear it is witchcraft.
My Labradar will run 100% suppressed...then just randomly decide it is done.

Example: A buddy @Krob95 was shooting load data suppressed. Got the first ten shots, no issue. Then moved the gun (not the unit) and we couldn’t get it to read the suppressed shots again.
No settings changes, just couldnt find the sweet spot again.

my only other issue is when shooting indoors. Understandably the labradar has issues when other projectiles are flying around or other guns are firing. It’s just a limitation of the unit.

I never had 100% success with my Labradar and suppressors until I got the original recoil trigger. Hands down the best accessory you can get for your Labradar, and it’s the only type of trigger you’ll ever need for it.

+1 for an Inertial Trigger. I went the external mic route to rectify the same issues you are having. While performance improved, the Issues continued at a less frequent rate. Once I went to an Inertial Trigger, no more issues. While JLK (https://jklprecision.com/product/labradar-trigger/) makes a very good inertial trigger for the LabRadar, the idea originated with Piet (https://pietrecoiltrigger.com/).

When indoors changing it to Low Power mode can help.

Go with the recoil trigger from @wildmanpiet. It’s awesome and he deserves credit for coming up with the idea. He sends a few pieces of Velcro for attaching to the rifle, but I pried the little dime-sized disc magnet off a refrigerator/chip clip and glued it to the trigger. Works great!

0-6" setting and put the can behind the radar. You want what little blast comes out of the can to be directed at the radar, if you put it in front you miss all of the blast. Rarely misses a shot.

With a nasty ass muzzle break, sure, put the muzzle in front so you dont beat the shit out of the radar. With a can you can be much friendlier with it.

What clamp/mount are you using on the LabRadar itself in your pic?

random cheap amazon crap

Its alright, this little plastic piece cracks though when I tighten it down, but they sent me a new one in warranty but it cracked too. Works without it though. Might make a little washer to add more lateral support. Its made for little cameras, not the labradar with so much leverage I guess.
