For all the mothers out there....
Like a typical graduation ceremony, the graduation march played, the graduate wore a cap and gown and all of the school officials were present. But this ceremony took place in an Ohio hospital room in January as a dying wish for the sole graduate's mother. She died the next day.
Jennifer Linnabary's last wish after a four-year battle with mantle cell lymphoma, a rare blood cancer, was to see her son Ben graduate from high school.
"We knew that my mom wasn't doing well at all and the last thing she wanted to see before she passed away was my brother graduating," Linnabary's daughter Becca Asimus told ABCNews.com.
Family friends made some phone calls on Saturday and within a matter of hours all of the necessary school officials had assembled at Linnabary's bedside along with some family and friends for an official Colerain High School graduation.
"It was important because we realized that this was important to the mother and to the family and so to make this whole situation they had to deal with as easy for them as possible, it was just something that we had to do," Northwest Local School District Superintendent Rick Glatfelter told ABCNews.com.
As the music played, Ben Linnabary, 18, proudly stood by his mother's bed and was presented his diploma by school and district authorities.
"I graduated, Mom," an emotional Linnabary said, looking at his mother as she lay in her hospital bed.
"This really does mean so much from all of you," he said, turning to the people who had put the ceremony together in a matter of hours. "Thank you so much."
Linnabary threw his orange cap in the air as loved ones cried a bittersweet mixture of joy and sadness.
"It was unbelievable, just the fact that even though she may not have been [able] to open her eyes and see it, I know she could sense what was going on and that meant so much to my brother," Asimus said.
Jennifer Linnabary, 52, did not think that she was going to make it long enough to see Asimus, 21, get married last summer, but when she made it to that milestone, the last thing she wanted was to see her son graduate.
Linnabary helped start Project SEARCH, a program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center that trains developmentally disabled people to help them get jobs. The program model has been duplicated all over the country.
She was diagnosed with blood cancer in the spring of 2009 and was in remission by that summer, but the illness returned the next year. She fought it for four years as her immune system weakened and she struggled with heart and kidney failure, Asimus said.
"She just grew so much from that, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually," her daughter said. "She just became such a strong woman and she had a lot of trials that she had to face through this illness."
Asimus said her mother loved the outdoors and wanted to be outside as much as possible, even as she got sicker.
"She was very selfless and thought of me and my brother and my dad above her sickness," Asimus said. "She was such a caring person, a second mom to all of our friends. She never let her illness get her down."
A service on Thursday will be held to celebrate Linnabary.
"She didn't want it to be called a funeral," Asimus said. "She wanted it to be called a celebration of life. She said she didn't want anything sad to happen."
Now, the family will work to turn one of Linnabary's unachieved dreams into a reality--she wanted to create a version of the Make-a-Wish charity for adults.
"She really wanted to start that and try and get the word out that it would be awesome to have this for adults too," Asimus said. "Me and my family and trying to make that happen."

Poor Kate. I could think of a number of ways to warm her up.
Kate Upton has made history with her latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot — she is only the second model to land back-to-back covers – the only other time this has happened was with Tyra Banks in 1996 and 1997.
However, the road to being this year’s cover girl was a difficult one.
"It was definitely the hardest shoot I've ever done," Upton, 20, tells People. "The best as well – Antarctica is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. But I'm from Florida, so it was pretty painful."
Imagine the shock when Upton realized she was the only model being whisked away to the far away continent for the photo shoot.
“I was very surprised by the news that that’s where my shoot was going to be located,’’ Upton said further discussing the difficulties on the “Today” show on Tuesday.

Upton joked on Twitter that when she got back it took two months to thaw out from frostbite.
“When I came back I was losing hearing and eyesight because my body was shutting down,” the SI cover girl continued. “It was working so hard to keep me warm. My mom’s in my ear going ‘I told you not to go there. It’s a bad idea!’”
Kate on this year's SI cover (Sports Illustrated)Planning for this shoot took about three years due to costs and scheduling, marking it as the first-ever fashion shoot that has taken place in Antarctica.
"Everything about the picture is perfect," SI editor MJ Day told People while backing up Upton’s remarks about how difficult it was. "First of all, it's cold, even though we were there in summer. The windchill was sub-zero – the elements are really working against you."
Still, Upton handled the freezing environment like a pro.
"She never complained. She'd just say, 'Okay, let's go do it again,’” praised Day. "I knew that if I needed to bury someone in clothing, I needed her physique and curves to come through.”

The only bummer is that Day didn’t get the chance to tell Upton in person that all her hard work paid off. The model found out she landed the cover via Twitter when it leaked four days early.
Still, Upton is absolutely thrilled.
"It was an accomplishment just to get through the shoot…I didn't even think about the possibility of being the cover until after I thawed out a bit!” the 20-year-old continued People. “But now it's like, wow – I actually went down there and was able to accomplish that. I'm part of history, and it's a great feeling (sic)."

Kate Upton has made history with her latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot — she is only the second model to land back-to-back covers – the only other time this has happened was with Tyra Banks in 1996 and 1997.
However, the road to being this year’s cover girl was a difficult one.
"It was definitely the hardest shoot I've ever done," Upton, 20, tells People. "The best as well – Antarctica is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. But I'm from Florida, so it was pretty painful."
Imagine the shock when Upton realized she was the only model being whisked away to the far away continent for the photo shoot.
“I was very surprised by the news that that’s where my shoot was going to be located,’’ Upton said further discussing the difficulties on the “Today” show on Tuesday.

Upton joked on Twitter that when she got back it took two months to thaw out from frostbite.
“When I came back I was losing hearing and eyesight because my body was shutting down,” the SI cover girl continued. “It was working so hard to keep me warm. My mom’s in my ear going ‘I told you not to go there. It’s a bad idea!’”
Kate on this year's SI cover (Sports Illustrated)Planning for this shoot took about three years due to costs and scheduling, marking it as the first-ever fashion shoot that has taken place in Antarctica.
"Everything about the picture is perfect," SI editor MJ Day told People while backing up Upton’s remarks about how difficult it was. "First of all, it's cold, even though we were there in summer. The windchill was sub-zero – the elements are really working against you."
Still, Upton handled the freezing environment like a pro.
"She never complained. She'd just say, 'Okay, let's go do it again,’” praised Day. "I knew that if I needed to bury someone in clothing, I needed her physique and curves to come through.”

The only bummer is that Day didn’t get the chance to tell Upton in person that all her hard work paid off. The model found out she landed the cover via Twitter when it leaked four days early.
Still, Upton is absolutely thrilled.
"It was an accomplishment just to get through the shoot…I didn't even think about the possibility of being the cover until after I thawed out a bit!” the 20-year-old continued People. “But now it's like, wow – I actually went down there and was able to accomplish that. I'm part of history, and it's a great feeling (sic)."
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue hit stands Tuesday.

My wife tries, bless her heart. She tried to surprise me by stopping by our local Sportsman's Warehouse today and was giddy to find one box of Winchester 45 ammo left on the shelf, to go along with a nice homemade Valentine's Day card she made for me. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was the wrong 45 ammo. She picked up .45 Long Colt, not .45 ACP. Unfortunately, she saw my puzzled reaction when I opened up the package so she knew it was wrong. I said, "No worries, we just don't have that gun yet."
So, I gave her my store bought card, the single long stem rose, and finished the not so expensive bottle of wine I got for her. 23 years of marriage next month and she lets me buy toys.
Ain't love grand?

She tried she knew you had a 45.
The fact that there are more than one 45 is some strange twist on fate.
My day. I stopped by picked up flowers, took her out for dinner and drinks.
Unfortunately since I wasn't able to do the typical 14th o Feb 2 hour seafood dinner in the kitchen because some fool at the company i work for didn't do his job I'm the ass.
Oh we'll at least the Noveske Gen 2 lower I ordered before all this hell went down came in today.

For Valentines Day this year, I spent it with my Lady in the Emergency waiting Room from 9:00 am till about 10:15 pm.
So yeah, our 'plans' were totally shot to shit. Kidney stones are a BITCH, but she pulled through like a trooper. I've already told her to pick a new 'day' and I'll give her a "do-over". She deserves it.
