Lake city brass variances.

Started reloading 556 for my mk12 that I use for varmint hunting. I am sticking with Lake city brass and working up loads with several things in the 70-77gr area.

I’ve read several people trying to stick with the same year brass but I’m wondering if I would be better off organizing by weight since within the same years I am getting weights from 91.8gr to 93.3gr on once fired decapped brass. Everything I have is either 2008 or 2012.

In the past I have been anal enough to sort LC bras to + or - .5 gr. so 1 gr. total. You are measuring 1.5 gr. variance. You are not shooting bench rest so save time and effort, just load 'em. JMNHO

I think it would be overkill to go that far for varmint loads. If you were entering some sort of competition, then there might be some merit to it.
