Lapua 260 Brass Difference?

I am reading about differences in the old Lapua blue box 260 remington brass and the newer brass. Being new to reloading and this caliber in general, I don't know the differences between the different iterations of Lapua 260 brass. I ordered 200 cases from Powder Valley this year and got in two of their boxes that were blue, are the new boxes not blue for some reason, and does anyone know the differences?


Also, in having some issues with a seater die I am working back through it to see if there is an issue with the machining of the sleeve for the seater die or if I set something up wrong. After getting a replacement sleeve I was able to get a properly seated 140 Berger hybrid and my seated case neck (unturned) is at .2945". On the saami chamber drawing they show a minimum of .298" at the neck of the chamber. Is this the saami minimum or is there a tolerance stated elsewhere that isn't on the saami drawing stating +.002? With the current diameters I am seeing at the neck and on the drawing I am not seeing where it has been required for some to turn their Lapua brass before chambering unless the saami minimum is different from what I am seeing.

I reread a message I got about the older blue box brass and I think it's more clear now as being still in the same blue box, but the earlier lot numbers. So I believe I am good on that regard.

There is NO difference in the 260 brass. We only introduced this caliber within the past three (?) years, and I don't believer we ever even sold any in the old cardboard boxes. The blue plastic boxes came out at about the same time as the 260 was added to the line. There have been no changes at all in the specs or production of these cases over its lifetime thus far.
