Hardly the largest centerfire cartridge, but still pretty cool I guess. Can't wait to see someone try and fire a pistol version of that gun and post it on YouTube.

I can't believe this thread had gone this long without someone mentioning the Barrett XM109.
25mm > .950 caliber.
And then there were centerfire black powder rifles to my knowledge up to a 2 bore, with is a 1.32 caliber.
This is a 2 bore (and its 3500-gr bronze slug) next to a wimpy little .700 Nitro Express

ok question, why was the .950 JDJ made? is it just a "because I can"? or is there some reason why it was made, new anti material round for the military?
