Larue harris bipod mount

I was looking on larues site and i see they sell harris bipod combos with their lt 706 qd swivel mount. I like this better than using an adapter to the sling stud mount but i could not find just the mount on their site. I already have a harris and would like to buy just the mount. Dose anyone know if this is available or will come available. Or am i just missing it on their site.

Thanks, but i am looking for the 706 mount. They remove the sling stud mount and install this is its place. They have combos but i dont see just the mount.

The 706 is a modified Harris, it is not an adapter.

Sorry I misunderstood you. You have to order the combo in order to get that specific mount. From what I understand they do away with the original top part of the Harris bi-pod and install their own top half.

Call them up. I have read posts that they will sell you the parts that they use to modify the harris bipod. This was 1-2 yrs ago though and though I have a 9-13 I want to swap over, I haven't called them.

I bought one a few years ago; they refused to send me just the parts though. I had to mail them my bipod and they installed the parts, shipped it (and the old parts) back.

I had to fight them to get them to sell me the LT706 separately a few years ago, but just recently someone here said they sold him one without a fuss. The price was $120 as I recall. It is the best such mount on the market in my opinion. I suggest you call them.
