I saw the add for these lights here on the hide....I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I would like to mount one on my M4. Any pros and/or cons would be greatly appreciated...

I am interested in hearing feedback on the same thing. I was looking into the BSA Laser Genetics Designator, but it seems a bit expensive.

I bought two models for demos; I have a range and gun store, and everything we sell gets tried and tested first.
The concept is OK, and you can see to shoot at 200 yds. The smaller model was mounted on an AR-10, and gave up after about a dozen rounds. The beam is no longer focused.
The larger model is still working, but has not been mounted to a rifle.
These are a good idea, but quality is poor.

they don't work in the cold either....
I run a LightForce scope mounted light at night. Best there is and quality and customer service is GREAT.

So is the Light I saw advertised here made by BSA or are there two different products out there? I wouldn't be needing to see too far, mainly we are only doing room entries and building checks...so a few feet to maybe 25 yards is really what kind of environment I'd be in....

It is the same light, and it's not worth the money..... I had bought one of these lights for coyote hunting. Once it got cold the light wouldn't work anymore, and it could not be mounted since the light would lose focus, or not function at all. If you are looking to do room to room, or CQC look into a Surfire. They are much better lights and will cost about the same price......

Thanks Hugo....I will do that! I was thinking the green designator would be a nice addition and different...but definitely not worth it if it won't work in the cold or breaks due to recoil...
