I picked up 1k of LC pull down brass still primed. 65% was LR the rest was mixed LC. Anyway they have a black sealant of some sort inside the neck. Question is; how do I remove the CRAP?

Well sorry to say, that didn't touch it.

I cleaned some the other day with carb cleaner but I have to pull the primer and there is residue left inside the case.
Oh well.

I sure hoped the alcohol worked but......

Yep! The nail polish remover worked.
I can't believe the use that CRAP!
I thought I cut a fat hog but been a real pain trying to get this brass in shap. Probably have to punch the primers too.
Oh well, still should end up with brand new LC LR brass.
Thanks for the help.
Actually didn't know they used that kind of sealent.
It's got to be on once fired brass also?
That would be a bitch to remove from a barrel?

Yeah, acetone is about the only thing that will touch that military bullet sealant. I chucked up a bore brush I'd dipped in acetone and scrubbed it out that way, then came back with the cotton swabs to get any residue.

You can get Lake City Long Range cleaned brass directly from Brass Bombers. The long range brass does not have a crimped primer.

You can try calling or email them for additional info. I bought some and was very satisfied. Friendly and helpful bunch of folks as well!
