Hi,
So I’m having issues with my press and its quick lock change bushing. It’s basically a part that allows you to change dies cery fast. Cool right? No, I hate it very much. Why? Because if I need to pull a bullet using my RCBS bullet puller with collet, I have to tighten down the collet pretty tight before pulling a bullet. Because of this, when I go to unscrew the collet die, the Lee bushing comes with it and I spend several minutes and frustration having to unscrew the die and bushing apart.
My solution is to epoxy or loctite the Lee bushing in place so it becomes all one peice. I do not care if I loose the quick change feature as I’m only reloading .308.
Is this a solution or should I consider dumping even more money into a better single stage press?
