Hello, does anybody know where I can get a left hand bolt in a 6.5 grendel or 6ppc bolt face. I have tried Stag Arms, DPMS, and Alexander Arms already. Is there a one man shop out there that could help me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Left Handed AR 15 bolt

Nobody makes a left-handed AR-15 bolt for the 6.5 Grendel yet. Your only option is to: 1) modify an existing 6.5 bolt; or 2) get a machist to make you one. Either way, it won't be cheap! Even if you find a good smith or machinist to modify a bolt for you, good luck getting anyone to guarantee it to function properly.

You might try Steve at ADCO and see if he has any ideas for you or if he'd be willing to undertake the project. Also, run a search on the 65Grendel.com forums and see if anyone over there can point you in the right direction. Lots of folks dedicated to the Grendel platform (understandably so) and a wealth of information.

Maybe someone does, did or can with a 4 line program change. Well, absolutely positive I have some left handed 9310 alloy 7.62x39 bolts which have a .125 recess so if you headspace the barrel to work with a standard recess instead of the Grendels .136 recess then try www.AR15Performance.com
BTW they're $100 complete with chrome silicon extractor springs.
