Gunsmithing lefty Savage scope mount

I'm needing more eye relief on my Savage Mod. 12 left-hand action(pre-accutrigger) and want to put a picatinny rail on it. Will a rail for a right-hand action work reversed? Thanks...

No need to reverse. I have RH rails on all of my LH actions.

They work fine with no mods.

You can look at the Ken Farrell rail,they are cut for
both sides and excellent quality to boot.

The EGW rails that I have on my LH and RH savages are very good and priced quite reasonably.
