Legion Firearms

I know a couple of their guys pretty well. Army combat vets, good guys (not snake oil salesmen), helpful and knowledgable on their rifles/pistols. I handled the weapons quite a lot earlier this year after a good pal INSISTED I touch base with them and my pal is a good judge of quality. (He has one of their 5.56 carbines and likes it better than any of his Big Brand" ARs.) They use all very high end components and will custom build your rifle to your specs.

After handling the weapons, talking to the guys for a while and getting a feel for them; I put an LF10 308 on order as well an LF4D 5.56 model. You really need to handle one and talk to them. My 5.56 should be here VERY soon painted in Lupus camo by Orion Design Group. They also worked with me to paint the trijicon ECOS, surefire m600 and a mag or 2. I will absolutely do a review as soon as I get it in.

Shooter0311,
Thank you very much for your help. I handled them at Shot Show this year and was impressed with what I saw. I wasn't able to fire any of them. Their team was super helpful, didn't treat you as if you were a nuisance, and were easy to talk to. I have dealt with a lot of companies at Shot Show and more often than not, have been made to feel unwelcome. The guys at Legion were fantastic. I can't wait to hear your review, especially on that LF10!
Thanks again.

Legion is GOOD people. The 14.5 inch upper they built for me is beautiful, and smooth as silk. Some folks complain that they cost too much, since they can get a Bushmaster for ____. If you contemplate all the custom features/high-end components/coatings that they use, the price structure makes sense. Talk to Chuck Ramos or Rome. They were VERY well-received at SHOT this year, so lead times might be impressive, but it is WORTH the wait. I'd give a nut for one of their 2011s....but a little birdy told me that they might be developing something glock-related and now I am saving up for whatever that is!

Ha! Thank you very much! I am an STI dealer (don't sell too many in my neck of the desert) and handled their 2011 pistol. It was super nice. Chuck is a nice guy as well. Interesting on their new pistol design! You have my curiousity peaked! Thanks for your input!

Yeah, I have worked on the courthouse elevator in Sanderson, there's not much out that way! :) Anything that gets me closer to Ft. Davis or Pizza at the Pizza Foundation in Marfa is good with me, though!

chainring,
I am glad to know someone knows where Sanderson is! The usual response to our location is, "Oh yeah, that's up by Dallas!" Negative! You are right, there isn't much out here which is a huge draw to many and a scary thing for others! I rode the elevator a few days ago! Works great! You are right about the pizza!

I think you go for search at your place, or there is more way to find Sanderson , if i see the current location with the help of www.surfessay.com or you can put your problem in the form of questionnaire and put it in the site and you find some good answer from people.
