Has anyone dealt with Leica's customer service in the recent past when getting an item repaired? I recently picked up a new Sig LRF and seeing as my 12 year old Leica CRF 1200 has seen better days I contacted Leica Sport Optics in NJ to see if I could fix the scratched objective lens and replace a missing bezel ring at the back. I was told to send it in and they'd look at it and I guess my question is were they prompt in getting your item back to you or did they give you the run around on pricing and lead times?
The thing still works like a champ so I'd like to have it refurbished a little so I can keep it around as a back up.
