Leo so worried about being prosecuted he lets perp stick a gun in his face?!?!?!? WTF America????

I know my Dad said the 2 times he drew his gun, he couldn't help but think of all the bullshit that would follow.

1 decided to cooperate.
1 got a can of pepper spray and a fist fight.

Older wiser him says he should have just shot them both, but he's still around to second guess himself so it worked out.

short time?

These types exist in every department. Their coworkers know who they are and weak supervision and administrations push them through dispite the objections of those that are unfortunate enough to try to train them.

Most survive entire careers actively avoiding making any use of force decisions. The others end up dead and/or making good 'don't- be- this- person's training videos.

Perp knew he had control over the officer. Man what are they going to do but to put a fence around these areas to keep them localized since you can't police them anymore. They break out to the rural areas people don't care what will happen to them when they are defending their families. Job one extinguish the threat to protect the lives of your family.

imho, once the officer let the armed dude "get the drop on him", i am not sure pulling his weapon at that point was the right call.
the problem is letting dude you think has a gun get the drop on you.

He was more afraid of being publicly framed as just another evil white policeman then protect his own life.

That is where we are in America. The remaining cops are starting to be more afraid of the public mob and perception than getting shot in the face.
They should think about that then the next time they work security for Antifa.
