Rifle Scopes Leopold Gold Ring HD or Mark 4 Tactical Spotter?

Looking to order a new spotting scope today and cant make up my mind on either the Leopold gold ring hd or the mark 4 mildot tactical spotter. is it worth the extra $ for the mark 4 ?

I ended up going with the Mark 4 but I opted for the P4 over the mil dot. I think the Mark 4 is the way to go and if you do some careful searching the Mark 4 is not too much more!

Ya ive been watching them for awhile, just finally got the ok to pull the trigger on one. went with the mark 4 just now

I have the Leuplod HD kit and really like it. I'd see if you can look at both spotters over a long distance (not in a store) and see which has better resolution. I haven't seen the Mark V Tactical so I can't comment on it.

What do u think of the case that came with the gold ring hd kit? Is it a plastic or is it a nice sturdy aluminum case? I can't really tell what it is made from in the pictures.......

if you want the reticle, get the mk4

If u need a reticle, your only choice is the mk4
