Less concussive muzzlebrake?

I’m sensitive to blast from muzzle brakes and there is no “felt” blast on the shooter from the ACE brake. It is loud, sure b/c it’s a brake but it doesn’t direct blast on the shooter.

With the blast shield used in conjunction with the ACE, the perceived noise is less on the shooter.

The ATS is the best blend of less concussion to shooter and brake effectiveness.

The CHAD is the most effective without being brutal to shooter.

I switched from ATS to CHAD in matches and use ATS and cans for practice to simulate more muzzle flip to help train NPA and follow through.

Bumping this one. For the CHAD users, is concussion on par with something like the ACE or pva jet blast or better?
I'll echo what a couple others have said. The chad is on par concussion wise as the other low blast brakes. It's still a muzzle brake so no free lunches. That said it's night and day difference from the tmb, a419 hellfire, fat bastards of the world

Has anyone used a less concussive brake that works well with something about a 280ai, 7saum, or similarly sized cartridges up to about 300WSM? I've used most of the ones discussed here before but find that some brakes I liked on smaller / mid size cartridges don't work quite as well for me once you cross over ~50 grains of powder. Flip side there was one large ELR type brake I tried on a ELR rifle that worked well for the little time I spent behind and beside them but they would probably be a bit much for this approximate size of cartridge.

Otherwise it's (another) ATS or maybe a MDT comp when I get to it.

I’ve used the Christensen 3 port side baffle on my Win Mag. It did a great job of cutting the recoil and I don’t really feel the concussion. If you’re shooting to the sides of me though, good luck. I have about 40 rounds on an Updraft on my Creedmoor, it doesn’t have hardly any concussion, and it keeps my 22” 12 LB creed planted when shooting off the bipod and bag. I may buy one in 30 cal to try.
