Curious to see what the fellow Hide members have for pets! My fiancé and I have two Blue Merle Border Collies currently and a reclusive cat named Kitty.

Brynn is 2 years old and on the right, she’s from the herding line of border collies (alledgedly) and is incredibly smart. A little too smart for her own good I’d say. We’ve had her since she was a puppy and my fiancé and her have quite the bond.

Harlan is on the left and is a AKC registered show dog who also won shows and herding comps and did all sorts of tricks and bite work in the last 8 years. He was also a stud but ended up going sterile which is why we rescued him as the previous owner had no use for him. He’s had a rough life and been shipped all over the country for trainings and events and is terrified of loud voices and is a little nervous around men although he’s an absolute lush.

2 Pit mixes Dakota, black and white and Titan, blue. Both rescues. Dakota 12/15 years old now (she's been with us for 8 years) had been in the shelter 6 months when she found us and had 7 to 10 days remaining per the shelter. She's been the absolute best companion ever! Titan was abandoned at 5 months old and had a host of health issues when we first saw him. Since we had a good relationship with the shelter we were given an option to foster for the Thanksgiving weekend in 2016 which gave us first rights so to speak. 2 surgeries later for MCTs and a blood deficiency and he's a healthy pup of 4 years old. Oh and a black cat Mercedes.

Here's my two. Left one is a Catahoula Leopard dog and the right one is all sorts of fucked up.

Great dogs. They love the family, let me know when the mailman is assaulting our mailbox every day and are more loyal than 99% of all the people I know.

Here is mix of all the parasites that live at our house including my wife’s little pigs. The Harry one in the cowboy hat is named corn dog because he’s fat as hell, the hairless one is Barney. The weener dog is Barbara, the sleeping bully is Benny. And my smooshed face battle cat is named dr. Beans, he likes to hang out on my reloading bench and watch me make bullets

Feb 7 2020 I was told I would have to put my best pal Gemini of 16 years down. She was 17 and stopped eating due to kidney disease. I was devastated.

I consulted a vet in Vancouver, Canada and found a new vet locally. For 7-1/2 months I cared and treated her daily. She spent many of her last days lounging in the sun outside (she was an indoor cat). Her quality of life was awesome.



Finally in Sept I made the decision that she would begin to suffer and put her down. She went down fighting. The vet had to give her “enough sedative to put down a Rottweiler”. My soul was crushed but I knew I did everything I could for her. She had a good life.

2 days later I rescued this kitten of 3 months, and she rescued me. Her name is Shelby and she loves shootout westerns......

I’m going to refer you to the title of the thread: “Let’s see those pets”. I just so happen to own two dogs and a cat and that’s what I started the post off as. There is zero restriction of showing any pets you may have. Hell it could be a pet snail or hermit crab. If you have a pet you would like to share, please do!
