Side note: the 50 and 53 v-max are pretty impressive out of the lowly 223. There's a lot more that go straight down than do the spin-dance.
I've got some 55gr barnes varmint 6mm that I'm going to load up for a 6cm. Should beat a 22-250 by 200fps with that load. I'll bet it knocks th spin right out of them. Makes them smile.Yep & a 53 V-max out of a 22-250 works well also
Oh man we shoot in field conditions. And those dogs don't always give us a lot of time lol.Thanks.
A little trial and error made the paint job turn out.
I must confess though I've missed 3 coyotes at about the same distance this year
I've missed 3 coyotes in the same day before.Thanks.

I tell ya brother, sometimes it's like "WTH!!!". Other times it's like "It's good to be the King".I've missed 3 coyotes in the same day before.
From much, much closer than 500+ yards.
And nothing in between.I tell ya brother, sometimes it's like "WTH!!!". Other times it's like "It's good to be the King".
Possibly my best shot to date. Like, comment, subscribe for more

Was waiting for you to chime in brother! Good shooting!Made 4 stands this morning, killed 4 coyotes.
Thanks! It's been unseasonably warm, and the calling has been slow around here. Was waiting for you to chime in brother! Good shooting!
Soooo you shot this guy eating a skunk. He must've been hungry. Why not kill two birds with one stone and let him finish his meal before shooting? Maybe the stomach acids would neutralize some of the funk juice.
Y'all were out there doin' work!!!Double in one set, quad in another! Two dry stands.View attachment 8249071
Thank you, but was a lucky night at a good time of the year! I usually only kill about 15 coyotes between October and March going out once every week or two. The quad was taken where I don't believe any calling has been done in several years. A guy has to have a night like that to look back on when the calling is slowY'all were out there doin' work!!!
