Let's fight . . . What is the best caliber for the AR-15

So I was inspired by another thread and I'm curious what the members here will pick as the best overall caliber for an AR-15. I am pretty limited by the poll options on this site so I made three separate "tests" to get some opinions one the capabilities of the "most common" calibers you will find in AR-15's. If you have the time to take the tests I think it will be interesting to see the results. If this gets any interest / involvement I will post those results in a couple weeks.

I like that the yardage tops out at 1050 yards, as that's the max I can shoot in the back 40. Although my answers might skew the results as I attempt 1050 yards with almost every caliber I own. Yes, even 7.62x39. (9mm I gave up at 600yds)

What I did with it was sold it to a friend who REAAAALLY wanted one too.

I took the money and assembled another upper. Took it hunting that fall and shot a deer with it. Then said "Ok now what do I do with it?"
