Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

Re: Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

They ain't great pictures, but maybe you can tell a little from them. Rem. Classic in 50% Olive, 25% Black, 25% Light Tan. The rifle (LVSF .308) has since been Cerakoted in Graphite Black and the scheme looks really good with the black metal.

what kind of stock is that? </div></div>

It's a McMillan Anschutz Silhouette.

Hate,
I can't wait to see the pink stock. List the colors in it as well will you. I am really contemplating buying a pink one that can go to my daughter.

Re: Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

Sorry for the dupe, got another thread with the same pic, but what the heck, here goes! Marble with 80% black, 20% OD green. The lighting makes it look a bit tan.

Chris,
Sorry it took so long to get back to ya. Yes, I checked the quote from Terry and it does say "33% light tan".

John, how do you like your adjustable comb? Have you had any trouble with the screws stripping or coming loose? I have the saddle style on my A-5 and have had trouble with it doing the above. I like the look of Terry Cross's adj. comb.

Re: Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

Yo Buzzsaw... My stock has the saddle comb like yours (coloured much like John's) and same probs as yours with recoil shaking it lose... I put a flat washer and a lock washer behind the tighting screw (knob) and it fixed the problem

Re: Lets see some of those McMillan marble colors

Anyone do a snow camo type marble pattern? I was thinking 70% white, but am having trouble with my fill colors. I was thinking 15% grey, and then possibly 15% black or 15% tan.

Any suggestions?

Ive had some issues with the screws loosening. I like the saddle better. And I should send this to Terry and get his mod put on it.

Great bag. I have only taken it on one small range trip but it is build like a tank and has a perfect balance for the 20" rifle. A lot of detail improvements over the earlier bags, sorry for the limited info but the crooks are keeping me busy at the moment.
