I didn't have one for a bit, then bought one for $425. It's not impressive at all (ugly actually), but I'm hoping it shoots well enough.

1924 Colt 1911A1.
My Grandma's husband left it to me when he passed back in '09.
His Dad bought it new in 1924, when he was a volunteer deputy with the York County, PA, Sherrif's Department. My understanding was that they were involved with the revenue agents busting up distilleries, and that is the pistol he carried. I've got a vintage Bianchi holster for it, and three or four extra two-tone magazines that were bought new with the pistol. It's all original except for the sights. They were put on it in the 1960s when my Grandma's husband was involved in a sportman's club in York Co. that hosted bullseye pistol shoots.
I've shot it. Still works like it did when it was new.

My custom Fusion Tact-5 built by Bob Serva. Ion Bonded slide and small parts....Yukon-11 coated frame...slide serrations...VZ operator grips. Trijicon sights. Shoots lights out and worth every penny. I'd put it up against a Wilson Tactical Supergrade anyday of the week for an accuracy comparison. PM me for target pics.

Just bought a new Nighthawk AAC 1911 in .45ACP off of gunbroker to go with my TiRant can.
Going to have to offset that with selling my Wilson CQB and FNP-45 Tactical ;(
Super pumped, though. Finally have a .45 that fits my hand well that's built from scratch with suppressors in mind.
And finally get to play with a Nighthawk!

There is a Little diffrent cut on my TAC-OPS front slide at the bottom, Others I see are radius, Mine is Angular cut.

Just started looking at combat precision i liked how they overhauled the MC operator. Thinking of sending my MC operator to them when i get it. They have some very nice pictures of the work they've done.

Really like the looks of that 1911 Alabamashooter! Chuck Rogers is the master in my mind, but if Chris James continues to put out builds like that, Mr Rogers may have some competition! Looks like it shoots as good as it looks.

This is my Rock Island Project Gun. Kind of ugly but now more optimized for use.

I'm selling my LMT 12.5" piston upper and picking up a Springfield Super Tuned 1911 so I'll post pics when it arrives.
