I have one with the Varmint Hunter's reticle and like it a lot. I have shot prairie dogs past 600 with it (on a .223) on several occasions, not dialing, just using hold over. I have a few Leupold CDS scopes (VX-6, 3 x 18's), but have never sent in for the CDS turret for any of them. With changing environmental conditions affecting bullet performance at distance, I just never saw the point.

My experience with mine is the same as Winchester59's above. It has been a solid scope for me I don't do much dialing on that particular scope as Im using holds almost exclusively on my Pdog rig (22-250). I have never tried that scope for any PRS style shooting, only on dog towns.
did you get a VX-3i 8.5-25? I have the VX-3i 6.5-20 and i love it. Very clear, repeatable, and well built. I am in the process of getting my CDS data so i can get them made. Super stoked!
