I am new here and have a quick question. I am looking at going with a 3.5-10x40 Leupold, I think it is a Mk4. It is brown and has a illuminated TMR recticle. Model number is 61250.

Anyway, my question is does this model come with the different knobs for for the .308 and the 300 like the M3 models do? Does anyone have experiece with this model and is it good? I have used a plain 10x M3 before and is this pretty close to the same? I have compared the specs and they seem close. Just looking for some feedback from actual users of this scope.

Thanks for the great site!

Re: Leupold M2 Knob Question

I have the M3 on a MK4 3.35-10X40 M3 and the M2 knobs on a MK4 2.5-8X36 M2 and the M3 came with 3 BDC knobs and the M2 came with the BDC for the 168grn 308, I was asked when I bought the scope what round I used. The M2 I have is only the 2.5-8x36 MR/T, so I am not sure if the MK4 3.5-10X40 M2 come all 3 knobs, but I know the M2 does use the BDC knobs.

Re: Leupold M2 Knob Question

I have the scope you are looking to get.
It came only with the BDC for 168grain 7.62.
It is the only Mk4 I have ever owned and works as advertised.
