    Leupold Mark 4 M5 Mil/Mil 5 Month User Report
I have been doing my best to bust this optic with out just right abusing it.
    Its been frozen
Its been baked in the Vegas sun
Its been draged through the dirt and sand

To date the scope has been mounted on 338 Lapua Magnum
    4 -Ar-10s
    2- AR-15
    6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun
6.5 Creedmoor gas gun this scope been subjucted to over 1,700 rounds with out issues.

    The glass is clear
    The TMR is good
    The clicks are positive
All and all its a good piece of kit.

Things I would like to see:Left side windage adjustment
    :H37 option

In some circles Americas Optic Authority has been gotten a bad rap however setting that aside.
Strides have been made on Leupods part to address the areas of concern for the end user.
Any Hider that will be or is in Vegas and would like to check the M5 out in person send me a PM and you can send some rounds with my LR in 6.5CM
Keep up the good work Leupold ....DavidD

Thanks for the report, I really hope they have litened to the masses and improved on their QC. I have other scopes and have used other but I'll always remeber and love them because they're brand has been with me for so long, professionally and personally.

Just picked up a 6.5-20 M5 TMR from CS Tactical - have not had a chance to work with it, but will be using it on our monthly paper match out to 1k in October.

I just spoke with Leupold Customer Service last week about this (as I have a scope in for warranty repair at the moment) and wouldn't mind having it upgraded with the M5 turrets. They said the M4 and M5 turrets are not available for retrofit/conversion at this time, maybe in the future.

    Re: Leupold Mark 4 M5 Mil/Mil 5 Month Report

I just talked to Leupold abt the illuminated reticle again. Now they say that it is NOT available yet. I am not sure what happened when I talked to them 2 weeks ago. The guy must not have known what he was talking about.

    Re: Leupold Mark 4 M5 Mil/Mil 5 Month Report

im picking up my stick this weekend. I got the ERT M5 4.5-14x FFP. I got to play around with one today at the local gun shop. It is solid. And I was very impressed with the glass. It seemed clearer than my buddies zeiss, and his zeiss was WAY more expensive. My gunsmith is very good friends with the leupold rep in our area. And when I ordered mine he was told by the rep that it is currently NOT available with an illuminated reticle. If it had that, OMG...titties!

Just bought the same scope myself, and it's brilliant!
Exactly what you need in the real world - light, practical, reasonably priced, and easy to use.

The price premium is for the H37 reticle (+$900). The H37 is cheaper in a Horus scope, but missing the Leupold lifetime warranty and clear optics.
