I was on here years ago but lost access to my account. I'm back with questions because I have the bug.

Who has a leupold mark 5hd 5-25x56 mil scope?
Would you buy it again?

Have 2. 3-18 and a 5-25. Definitely would buy again. Both on hunting rifles. Their lighter weight really makes them a great choice. Glass clear. Tracks true. Have taken both to 1000+ many times. Leupold to release a new Mil reticle soon.

I’ve owned a lot of different glass...I sold 2 Kahles after looking through the 5-25 mark5 and bought a 5-25 and a 7-35 both with CCH reticles I’ve owned them about 2yrs now and would without hesitation buy again...love the mark5s!

Loved mine when I got it, fantastic glass and elevation turret. But mine has been a lemon, poor turret tracking, sent it back for the 2nd time in July after the first repair actually broke elevation tracking completely and I still haven't got it back yet. I wouldn't judge the model or the company based on one lemon, but it's been heartbreaking to experience such poor quality control and customer service. Would I buy one again? If I could test it first, perhaps, otherwise absolutely not.

Get one that works and I'm fairly sure you'd love it.

I have a 5-25 with the H59 reticle and love it. It’s an awesome scope and super easy to spot hits at prs matches. I traded a gen 2 razor for it and while I loved the razor I have no regrets about losing it to get the mk5

Just picked up at Mark 5 5-25 illuminated. I looked through both illuminated and non. Non has an open center crosshairs and illuminated has a floating dot. As Frank would put it "the reticle spoke to me".

I appreciate all the feedback. I am currently using a mark IV 3.5x10 with TMR reticle. The scope is a SFP with MOA turrets and mil reticle. I really like the reticle but wanted to upgrade to FFP and Mill Mill. I also used to have a NSX with greater magnification which I liked for certain applications. Just continuing my research.

Leupold has a really good Mil/LEO program. Good discounts.
