Nice video Mike. What lens caps were those on the Mark 4? Aluminas? I like that they fold all the way over.

Do tou feel like this scope is standard Leupold or a step up in their line up? I understand it has some nice additions that the other ER/T scope lack (ie.. Zero stops, HS knobs). I seem to remember LL mentioning he felt this scope "took a different path out of Beverton" (I think that's how he said it).

What's your feeling, does it compare well to the the comptition in this price range? Would you use it on your rifle?

I have one of these scopes and am very impressed with the quality and features. My only complaint was the locking turret. However this is easily defeated by putting a small piece of delrin under the turret cap.

I feel the New M5 are a step in the right directions and the Locking turret M5 has even a bigger improvement. The only issues I have seen was one had a crushed erector spring Leupold fixed quickly, I used for the video. The scope worked great for me. PS that rifle is mine and I ran with it for a Month. I would use one on my own comp rifle. The only thing I'm not a fan of I the locking turret. Frankythefly found away around that.

I'd really like to hear your review of the accucover. I've been looking at them but feeling like it's just a gimmick; after seeing this video and a real shooter using one I'm interested again.

I've looked through a few Leupold scopes but never considered them because of non matching turrets. Now that the M5 turrets are out, I have a mk4 m5 6.5-20x50 TMR ffp on the way! Should be a step up in glass from my pst...
