Rifle Scopes Leupold Mk5 Lineup Pics

Boy does this site reject Leupold. Most people here continue to dislike them for one reason or another(I'm sure most of them are just bandwagon bashers.) I for one think Leupold puts out a solid product. Do I think some of their scopes are overpriced, yes. But so was Schmidt at one time.

I use nothing but leupolds on my hunting rifles and use Mark 8s. No problems with any of them. I guess I'm just lucky. Plus, I think Leupold has always had phenomenal glass quality. I put my order in for a mark 5.

I've always give Leupold a fair look but until the mark 5 they've been sorely lacking in being competitive price wise. Their prices for their Mark 8s pretty much scream contract scopes (which they are to my knowledge) but that doesn't bode well when i can get the same quality else were for 1000-1500$ less. My mark 4 was fine for what i paid for it, albeit mixed match knob/reticle. My mark 6 was overrated and overpriced. The Mark 5 looks to be of the same design as the mark 6 with redesigned turrets. Assuming the prices are kept where they say they will be and it tracks it will be good. I don't think many people really hate Leupolds glass, it's more or less the features (or lack there of), tracking, and pricing that gives them a bad rep among the competitive circles or enthusiast circles rather. I'd like to see how the knobs feel, see them introduce something other than the TMR, how the eyebox feels (mark 6 is horrid), and most of all make sure they track.

Edit just noticed the CCH reticle.
