leupold spotter reticle installs??

Gentlemen, I was curious if anyone is able to install a reticle in a Leupold goldring 25x50 spotter.

I am thinking that Premier might have a few years ago, not sure if they care to now.

Yes, i believe a long, long, time ago they were available, if I am not mistaken Kmussack has one.

I doubt you will get anyone to do it again.

I've got the same Leupold/Premier Spotting scope that Kevin M has. It came as a kit from Premier.

Noticed he used his in the Mythbusters episode.

not sure if this help you but from Leupold...

If you have the Gold Ring 12-40x60mm HD spotting scope, then yes, you can have a TMR or Mil-Dot installed into your scope.

The TMR is $399.99 and the Mil-Dot is $349.99 plus applicable sales tax.

The old fixed 20 could be purchased with a Premier mil-dot installed, but it was not possible to retro fit, I don't recall the technical reason. I've spoken a number of times to the powers that be at Leupold about returning that to the lineup with TMR, no one seems much interested. I've got my original with the standard mildot, I'm keeping it, thank you very much. You may find one on ebay or other auction sites, good luck.

I have one from premier with 25x magnification... a high quality solution worth much more than I paid.

There is very little chance you will find one for sale in the used market w/ reticle installed... most folks will not part with them <g>

I do agree with Cory, Leupold is foolish to not tap into this niche again...
