Rifle Scopes leupold TMR dimension

Re: leupold TMR dimension

reading my instruction guide... from the M5 FFP instructions...it gives the center aperature different mil sizes for different powers. Must be geared toward SFP scopes. Am i right to assume the center aperature would be the same mil value at all powers with the FFP scopes?

Here is what the giude states for the center aperature
.18 Mil at 8x
.14 at 10x
.10 at 14x and 40x
.09 at 16x
.07 at 20x
.06 at 25x

Re: leupold TMR dimension

So at 10x...the aperture is almost .4"?????I shoot occasional 1/4min groups with my NF at 100yds .so it wont be easy to do with a TMR?

Re: leupold TMR dimension

Yeah, I posted too quickly. Mine is a FFP model so it remains at .10 mil throughout the power ranges. After having a couple of FFP scopes I can't imagine going back, although SFP has it's advantages.

Actually, I find it easier to shoot the "Sniper's Hide Group Targets" with the TMR as the center dot fit's nicely in the open portion of the reticle.

I routinely shoot 1\4 to 1\2min groups with a standard reticle...Anyone able to shoot just as small groups with a TMR>>???
