Haven't seen too much on this scope on the internet or on this forum so I was going to share mine for people to get an idea of the reticle. This one has the impact 23moa reticle which I couldn't ever find a picture of the actual reticle through the scope so here it is. I love it!

It makes me laugh how Leupold has a clean, minimalist tree reticle in MOA, but their in-house MIL tree reticle is a screen door like Horus knockoff. If Leupold made a MIL version of that reticle, they'd be selling a lot more Mark 5HDs.

I agree I'm sure it's because of it being more of a "hunting" scope and more hunters use moa but I think if they have good success with these moa reticles they will make a mil version.

I'm trying to convince myself that I can live with a VX5 HD 3-15 in MOA, as I want a hunting scope, and the LRTSi just isn't cutting it. Meh, MOA works I guess. I'd give my pinky toes for a MIL VX5...

Can't agree more with the sentiment above. I can't help but wonder why Leupold's so darned behind in the most important option on an optic. They've got everything else nailed on the VX5/Mark 5 line. The reticles are truly the achilles heel on these scopes.
