In the quest to find the right scope for my RAR .22, I have gone through quite a few scopes. These are two that didn't make the cut.
1. Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40. This has the Rimfire-MOA reticle. This was on the .22 for 3 range sessions. It had butler creeks on it the whole time. No ring marks, or other marks for that matter. $175 shipped.
2. Leupold American Marksman 3-9x40. This has the LR Wind-Plex reticle. This was on the .22 for about 3 months. It also wore butler creeks the whole time. No ring marks. It has one wear mark on the edge of the windage turret cap. Sold.
3. Burris 1" Zee rings. Weaver-Style, low. Used, but in good condition. $25 shipped, or $20 if purchased with one of the above scopes.
