I have a LMT 14.5" upper and Defender lower, really good rifle. However if I could do it again I would get one of their MRP platforms, they seem to be such an awesome weapon system. By the time I got done tricking my 14.5" upper out it cost almost as much as what a MRP would have ran.

Ii have an LMT MRP and a MWS. They're both grest guns. I'd buy another LMT gun in a heart beat.

I have an LMT defender AR15 and so far it has performed exceptionally well.

LMT is my personal choice as well, I use their m4 platform exclusively as my carry carbine.

1st LMT MWS 16" last December, 1st MRP, ETA June 2011. As the other posters said, top shelf. As soon as they get the 260 barrel done ill own that too.

I have a 10.5" and it runs like a top.
0 failure to ejects
0 failure to feeds
0 jams of any kind

I own one of their lowers w/ the SOPMOD stock. Nicely finished lower and the stock is very comfortable. I did take out the 2 stage trigger as it wasn't the greatest. Of course, I hate 2 stage triggers, so I'm not a great judge.

Had to comment on old thread... I have one of their defender 16 and it's is sweet. Guissley trigger SSA with a troy 15 inch rail. Runs very Smooth. I hear LMT is a trier 1 builder.

I have not read about it yet, but could I buy a 6.5 Grendel upper and simply install to the LMT lower without modifying the lower?

Can't go wrong with an LMT, they're a premium AR without a doubt. I love the MRP's and MWS.

I own both of the above and agree, both are great guns.
