Sako M591 action, McMillan A5 Adj, custom flectarn camo, Hawk Hill Marksman contour. Tuned trigger, set up for a Dead Air can. Short rail on the front for an Atlas bipod.

Great midweight hunting rifle, was my 1000 yard target gun for a while. 22” barrel is handy with a can and still pushes 2750 with RE26 and a 140 Berger.

Rifle will sell with picatinny rail, scope and rings not included.

Ive gotten a couple questions - round count on this barrel is approx 550-575. 2 cases Hornady match and some load development with RL26/Berger 140s.

Weight is 11.5lbs w/o optic. Kahles 624i in ARC rings will go up for sale after the rifle is sold or I’m happy to sell the package to one buyer.

Probably because who ever built it put the bolt on the wrong side.

In all honesty it is a awesome rifle. I always like seeing rifles built on factory actions besides the 700.

It’s a medium action - not dissimilar from a Tikka, bolt is very smooth but throw is maybe 1/8” to 1/4” longer than a traditional short action. Upside is you can get over SAAMI COAL - I ran loads as long as 2.15 CBTO, which let you fit a little extra powder to offset the 22” barrel.

Here’s one of the interim load development loads - never made it all the way on load development with this rifle but this was RE26, 140 Berger, CCI lg rifle, Hornady brass.
