These did indeed take way longer than we imagined, but the wait is over for everybody. This happens in today's retail world.

We have one cancellation, a RZR-42201 MOA, no waiting if anyone wants it.
I understand that everything is crazy with the supply chain right now. I hope you know I'm not blaming you for the wait. Just happy to finally have them shipping.

XTR3 on the website says they are the new model with illumination. If we order one tomorrow what is our expected in hands date for a 3.3-18 scr mil 2 reticle? Are you sending the order to Burris on Monday or have these in hands and shipping to Customers on Monday?

I personally think they made that model significantly less appealing/useful when they blocked it in with the 22x LHT and the Gen3. For half the price you can get less weight and a comparable mag range. For a few bucks more, get the latest and greatest.
I agree with that. Before the new one came out and before the price increases I understood it. Now if I'm dropping that kinda cash I'll just buy the 3rd gen. Speaking of the LHT anyone gotten their tracking # yet?

Thanks for the feedback, which was surprising to me.

This week another massive shipment of LHTs, both 22x and 15x, which should take care of all of our existing backorders for these models!!

Also the Gen III 6-36x arrived!!

Only signficant backorders left are Gen III 1-10x (more coming by the end of the month) and the danged Kilo 10K!!

PS - Everyone whose LHT arrived last week got their tracking. If you do not get a tracking number from me this week hit me up on Friday.

Thanks Scott for keeping us all updated. I really appreciate it.

Exactly this. I was saving for a 4.5-27x Gen2 when the price increase hit. No way in hell I’m paying that much for a Gen2 when they used to sell for hundreds less, and now post-increase they’re only a few hundred shy of the Gen3 (and in the same general ballpark as several NFs, Kahles, etc., at least at MAP). The LHT only made the Gen2 even less appealing post-increase.

Ultimately I snagged a used Bushy XRS2 w/ MPA mount for a price I couldn’t possibly ignore, and I’m happy with it. Vortex needs to drop the price on the Gen2 back down or put it out to pasture, IMO. Your pricing is very good considering MSRP/MAP Scott, but Vortex tied the hands of every vendor when they hiked the price up as far as they did, if you ask me.

If Vortex is watching this thread or Scott wants to relay a message, @Basher said it better than me.

If the XTR3i does perform the same as the US made XTR3 I see many scopes being made irrelevant (the Razor G2 being one of them) at the price they are being launched at.
The Mark 5hd, Razor G2, PST G2, Cronus, Ares ETR, NX8 (and many others) will have a hard time justifying their performance/price compared to the XTR3i.

I certainly see no good reason paying and additonal $700 for a G2 Razor vs the XTR3i.

That is based on ? My order sheet says non-illuminated.

The Burris threads that have been going since before the new scopes were announced. The illumination has made the SCR2 reticle a bit thicker, which most people like. I love the unique thin ret of the non-illuminated scr2, and was bummed we couldn't get it in the Pro. Please do advise if non-illuminated is available after all!

@LibertyOptics

Just to confirm I’m not missing it, there isn’t currently an option on your website to order a XTR3i with the 2mil reticle?

Burris website only shows it with the 2mil reticle and not the Mil reticle. That’s the difference in me ordering one or not.

If you mean SCR2, that is the only MRAD XTRIII reticle
