Just put it together for a PRS class this weekend. New to me LRF is the Leupold RX2800. Seems to work really well but the real workout is this weekend. Will report back on it's capabilities. It checks out on known distance and seems to do well on my steel targets.

I just posted my idea for a mount that would mount my Sig 2400 to the pic rail on my spotter. (Equipment Section)
I like your idea. Can we see better pics of the parts you used?

Class went well. The gear worked really good in the heat and mirage of Savannah in August. Temps were 90 ish with humidity about 70 to 80 percent. The Leupold worked very well on targets to 1200 of all colors and in sunlight and shade. I have ranged buildings out to 2900 yards or so. The glass is very clear. The pak-pod tripod worked very well for me. Light and easy to set up with no issues in stability. I did use the aluminum spike feet in the Sandy soil.

The mount I used for the rf to the spotting scope was the

From Amazon. It allowed adjustment to sync both units up pretty close.
