Just picked my rifle from Fritz at Black Canyon Customs. I love this thing, can't wait to put rounds through it. The action is very smooth and it's dry right now. 7 lbs. 13oz. as pictured. The fit and finish of each piece of the build is top notch.

Thanks guys, this rifle was always a dream and I was only recently able to make it come to fruition. So to hold the damn thing is a bit of a dream come true.

Fritz had it done within a couple weeks of me getting him all the parts, which I still had to take the trigger for him to install when I picked it up. I work alot of hours and he was extremely accommodating of my schedule. It took about 5 times longer for me to get everything to him and he knew I was going to be gone for weeks at a time, so it was kind of a side-burner project and he still was fast.

The other factor is that he is now dedicated full time to Black Canyon Customs. Get your name in the hat soon if you're interested. I have a feeling his schedule is about to fill up.

I have almost the same build coming from another rifle builder. I went without the DBM though as its going to be a hunting rifle.

What bullets you plan shooting out of it?
I plan on using this primarily as a hunting rifle, but I want to be able to do some ELR competitions and/or shooting with buddies in the same package, so I compromised a little weight for magazine capability. As of right now I'm going to start out with some Hornady 212 ELX's but I haven't done enough research to claim a specific projectile. Open to suggestions! I had great results with Berger's in my 338LapMag, so I expect to at least run a box to see.
