Tartan is correct, its the M50 stocky's had made by AG composites. Great stock, fit and finish is as good or better than any McM or Manners I've owned.

My father's Barrett Fieldcraft rifle just arrived today and just from handling it I'm going to be getting one too. The rifle, Vortex Razor HD LH, and TBAC Ultra-7 suppressor all together weighs 6 lbs 15 oz. The quality is just insane to me, and I have much more expensive rifles than this. They hit this rifle out of the park.
Please write up a report after you get it out in the field. I've looked very seriously at one of these but never followed through because of mixed reviews on accuracy. I'm very interested to see how yours (or your dad's) performs.

I’m still slumming the same lightweight rifles I’ve had for 12 years. M7 260s. One with a 3-9 VX1 and the other with a 2-7 Nikon Monarch. Only complaint is they’re a tad butt heavy.
This is the reason I've came to this post... my actual hunting rifle was my grandfathers and it means a lot to me. I decided this year I was going to retire it. I took one of my comp rifles out and that was a mistake... Time to build something lighter!
I tried the lightweight rifle setup a couple years ago with a Kimber Montana 7.3lbs or so with scope for back country hunting in Washington and I also had issues being consistent with it.
Now the setup I run is about 9lbs scope and rifle. I shoot this setup better and more consistent. To make up for the added two pounds I went and lost about 20lbs of body weight to make up the difference. I feel better and I definitely shoot better.

Love my .280AI Mine is a PRS rifle that works as a bean field rifle or a "Sendero" rifle as we say in south Texas. Would love to have a .280AI as a light weight Elk rifle, but I think I will go with 7mm SAUM for the short action. My lightweight Alpine rifle is a 6 lb 6.5 Creedmoor built by Chad Dixon at LRI.....it is a work of art especially topped with a Leupold Mark 5 HD 3.6-18
Finally got some good glass so thinking it will get hunted in Wyoming this year for antelopes. Tikka SL 7MM-08/Hunters Edge/S&B PMII 10x42, right at 7.5lbs.

David Gray at Deep South Tactical in pellahatchie MS. I’ve got a couple of friends that shoot for him and he did my brothers 308. Does great work. Some of the groups a friend of mine has shown me are ridiculous. Though he’s an incredible shooter too but still.

What barrel length? Light Sendero? I came up with an estimate of 7.1lbs for my Lone Peak Ti build. Hoping it comes in at less than that since yours came in at 6.7lbs with an Impact.
Nope regular sendero. Granted the way i weighed it was standing on a scale holding it and subtracting my weight. Scale wouldn't get the rifle alone.

I had a Rem600 Mohawk in .243 that was one of the most accurate rifles I ever had my hands on. I remember it weighed right around 6.5lbs with scope and rings. I wish I still had it. congratulations on the Kimber..

I'm expecting 2900-3000 haha but yeah it's likely to have more recoil than i'm expecting.

Truthfully dunno if that scale is that accurate i shocked when i saw that. Though adding the components up it’s probably 8ish bare. We’re talking 3lbs for the stock, 2.25lbs for the impact, 3lbs for the barrel. Should be right at 11-12 components wise all set up.
Hmm, that's abusing the term "lightweight" when you put it that way. I suppose this is the point where I'd get told to go to the gym and lose 20 lbs, right?
Nah haha though that is good for your health. It’s all about perspective. I’ve been carrying my match rifle deer hunting forever. 17lbs gets F’ing old. Which is why i had this built

Finally got the little 6.5 CM squared away with a load before hunting season. It shoots 130 eldms at just under 2800 fps out of the shorty 16" barrel.
Its 4.8 pounds scoped with the little 2.5-10 SWFA Ultralight on it and 5.6 pounds with a TBAC ultra 7 on there.
The scope has proven to be repeatable banging steel out to 600 yards and back repeatedly and still coming back to zero. Just wish the dang thing had a reticle that meant something (and no the BDC doesn't mean anything to me )
Anyways it worked well on a decent Sitka Blacktail as well as a couple caribou this fall.

Finished this one up a few days ago. Not an ultralight rifle, but very handy. Came out to 8lb 1 oz complete. The barrel is very fast with only 20 rounds through it, and shoots great. Very happy with it.

I like them quite a bit. They’re not the budget option, but the quality and ergos are good. They also deliver them fast.

My Sako now identifies as a 6.5 PRC
Carbon Six Prefit 20" 1-7 twist
Mcmillan Edge filled stock 12.5" LOP (keeping compact as I can)
Magpul bipod (light and cheap)
Leupold VX5HD 4-20x52mm TZL3 (not installed yet VX3i pictured)

Tikka Boar in 300WM, McMillan compact, Talley rear peep, definitely a thumper.
Its 54cm or a bit over 21 1/4", it is a Cabelas exclusive Boar rifle. Came out a few years ago. Very handy.

Finally got my Kimber Montana 338-06 back from the smith last week. Originally it was a 270 I bought used and had rebored to 338-06 and chopped down to 21". Shot some bears, moose, and caribou with it but since I picked up a SiCo Hybrid last summer during the buy one get on free I dediced to lop it back to make it short and handy with the suppressor. So had my gunsmith cut it back to 16.5" and thread it. This way I can shoot and work up loads in the yard.
Anyways, it now shoots 230 grainers at 2525 fps and my 210 sirocco bullet load at just below 2700 fps (2690 fps average). It was just over 2800 fps with that same exact load when it had 5" more barrel so I can live with the velocity drop.
I feel its a a good step up from my 6.5 CM that shoots 135 Hornady A tips at 2800 fps out of its 16.5" barrel that is 5.6 pounds scoped and suppressed (4 pounds 2 oz naked rifle), see post #137 above. While this 338-06 is 7.25 pounds with a heavier scope and suppressor (4 pounds 12 oz naked rifle). Pretty happy with how both of them turned out and likely cover most of what I need hunting wise here in Alaska.
