To answer the question directly, this table is extremely rigid and stiff. In our experience any movement in the system comes from the tripod/ball head and it’s component. The carbon fiber composite that we print with is known for its strength.
I looked at that but I am more interested in a table that attaches to my tripod than attaches to the gun. I like the idea of the tac table that I can drop my bag on when hunting with a rifle that does not have an Arca rail. The 1/4x20 would allow me to put my Kestrel or Garmin chronograph on the table.
This is the intent of the T-plate. It comes with our seamless adapter that turns the plate into a regular Tac Table. It runs in both configurations seamlessly. The adapter is essentially two arcas back to back (one would attach to the plate & the other to your tripod).
