Heard nothing but good things from my friends who have seen it.
We're going next few days. Suspect it will be good.
FYI, for anyone who has not read "Killing Lincoln" it's very good. Whatever you think about O'Reilly, the book is very readable and enjoyable. Also the book "Team of Rivals" by Goodwin is excellent. She is a complete leftist moonbat. But the book about Lincoln and his diverse (to say the least) cabinet is superbly researched/written and serves somewhat as the basis for the movie Lincoln. Very, very worth reading.
I'll post something about the film after I see it. But expect greatness.

i'm not sure that i've ever seen better casting in a movie. i would have ended it after the vote but that's just me. tommy lee jones and james spader were fantastic. anyone who watches it should go in expecting a history lesson though.

This is based on the novel "Team of Rivals" and centers around the passing of the 13th ammendment. I also read "Killing Lincoln" but wasn't as impressed as Sirhrmechanic.
BTW, there were no vampires killed in the making of this picture.
