I currently run Quick Load via wine no issues works like a charm, looking at maybe running load base 3

Re: linux users

Curious to know if any other ballistic software solutions are avaliable, not just limited to running emulated windows software. Apparently ballistic once existed as a c program, and was hosted on freecode (formerly freshmeat.net)...but I can not find the source anymore. Perhaps Zdziarski pulled it down.

There is one called sballistics, but it looks like the project hasn't been touched in at least 6 years.

eta: found a source code for ballistic, if you want a hotlink pm me. I'm going to compile it now and see how it runs..
ballistic is just the libraries you would have to write the program yourself. Saballistics works, its a console program but as mentioned above hasn't been updated in 6 years.

Re: linux users

I often run my ballistics needs on the web at JBM then take the JBM output and drop it into a spreadsheet to do various mathematical things with the data sets.

Once you get the data sets (over temp, humidity and altitude) you can have the spreadsheet do about anything to the data that a ballistics solver can do with the data.
