Veer_G Aside from what the title indicates, did any yall catch what else he said? And/Or what some of the crowd said? Regardless, you can guarantee not one person at that event has the grit to take a life and deal with the hurtin that Secret Service would put on em. Still absolutely despicable!!! Along with that stupid play up in New York. Can you imagine if some right-leaning public figure had said something like this about Obama on camera when he was shitting on us? Oh. My. God. The entire political right would be under investigation and/or indictment!

And why is Johnny Depp even commenting on American Politics? He'es a Canadian or, as we call them here, a Snow-Beaner.

Why doesn't he go hang out with Justin Bieber -- er Trudeau... and have a nice North-of-the-border love-fest. Oh, yeah... because Hollywood is not in Canada. All the actors want to be in... America. Which they hate on and want to change.

Maybe Hollywood should be moved to Vancouver or Banff or maybe Aleppo? How about Havana? They love these third-world cr** holes so much... why don't they have mansions there instead of in Beverly Hills?

Cheers,

Sirhr

Oh and Bamff isn't a craphole... though in January it does make it challenging to put the top down on the Ferrari....

Truth in he lies for living, actors are just great liars. At least that is what my grandfather believed.

Actors are vacuous souls with no internal personality of their own.

That is what makes them good at what they do.

The void where there is no personality can be filled with an identity provided from a script.

They are rudderless personages than can assume identities outside of their roles that they perceive to help them with their career.

Net result they are all the same. Your Gary Sinise, James woods types are rare businessmen that act as a profession rather than as a means to gain some identity which they otherwise would lack.

Lots of people in society are similar they just lack the face and abs to attract the camera. Just empty vessels seeking something to fill the void.

As it is, tons of our TV shows are filmed and produced in BC: https://moviemaps.org/cities/2

And Toronto: https://moviemaps.org/cities/h

(Knowing where you're from, I forgive you your semi-Loyalist tendencies, tabarnac!)

Not in defense of ole Johnny, but he was born in Kentucky. These Hollywood libtards constantly spouting off at the mouth is really getting old. There isn't a station on tv that at some point in the day if not all day aren't running some kind of left wing propaganda. Did I mention it is really getting old???

A more interesting read relates to Johnny....his drinkin (dude’s a fish), his money....the money managers that have tried to curb his spending...the behavior and temperament of an addict that has lived in bubble where the only words he hears are “yes, Mr. Depp”.

as I said, trying to fill the void......

He fashions himself as a modern John Wilkes Boothe? Yet another poser mistaking his conceit for greatness.

Last time I heard, he was channeling Keith Richards. I'd say, "How far the great have fallen", but that would require for Depp to be great in the first place...

I liked him better as Richards' clone. At least he's beginning to look his age, and dare I say, his dissipation...

So, Johnnie; save some of the loot for plastic surgery, you're gonna need it, and soon....

He should be placed on every list that we have and brought up on charges, beaten to a pulp, tar and feathered!

Oh snap he said he was sorry.

Never mind...........

This. Its disappointing what some are allowed to get away with just because they lean left. Imagine if someone was caught on camera saying that when Obama was president.. I can picture the shitstorm. And yet people cheer when its a conservative being referred to. But we all know none of em got the constitution for that type of action... unfortunately theres a few mentally unstable libtards that just might take this as the motivation they need to attempt said suicide mission...

Johnny Boy may not have heard th last of it....I hope I hope I hope.

[h=1]White House wants more ‘outrage’ over Johnny Depp commentslivier Knox 9 hours ago[/h] WASHINGTON — The White House on Friday complained about a “lack of outrage” towards violent language aimed at President Trump — even as it hosted a Trump campaign adviser who said last year that Hillary Clinton should be “shot for treason.”

Press secretary Sean Spicer had been asked about a production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” in which the assassinated Roman emperor is dressed and made up to look like Trump.

“I think it’s troubling, whether it’s that or Johnny Depp’s comments,” Spicer told reporters. “It is, frankly, my belief, real troubling the lack of outrage that we’ve seen in some of these instances where people have said what they have said with respect to the president and the actions that should be taken.”

Earlier, Depp apologized for controversial remarks he made Thursday at England’s Glastonbury Festival, during which he asked the audience, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” The “21 Jump Street” actor described it as a “bad joke.”

Spicer continued, “The president’s made it clear we should denounce violence in all of its forms. And I think if we’re going to hold to that standard, then we should all agree that that standard should be universally called out.”

The spokesman also said, “It’s concerning when you see a pattern that these comments get made, these actions get depicted, and the lack of attention that they get when it’s on our side.”

Spicer’s comments came after Trump signed a bill designed to help fix the Department of Veterans Affairs. In the East Room to witness the event was former Trump campaign adviser Al Baldasaro, who declared in July 2016 that Clinton should be “shot for treason” over her handling of Benghazi. Baldasaro’s presence was noted by pool reporter Maggie Haberman of the New York Times.

Asked about the apparent disconnect, Spicer said it was important to “condemn” all calls to political violence but said he was “not aware” of Baldasaro’s comments.

“But again, I’ll say right now that I don’t think that we should be resorting to that kind of language with respect to anybody in our country,” Spicer said.

The Secret Service is “aware” of Depp’s comments, according to spokesperson Mason Brayman. But Brayman declined to say whether the remarks would rate a visit from agency officers. “For operational security reasons, we do not discuss specifically or in general terms the means and methods of how we conduct our protective responsibilities,” Brayman said.

Awright, enough!

This bickering he did, she said, shouldn't that be a crime shit is getting old. Worse, It's getting dangerously vicious. I am not looking forward to where this is all leading, what with ban hammers and bleeding Senators.

This shit needs to stop. Here, if nowhere else. Are we whining little children?

Nobody who feeds this degree of dissent is right. Let it continue to its logical conclusion and people will die. Plain and simple; and when it does, do we need to be at the source?

Personally, I don't think it will stop. When push comes to pewpewpew, most of us are going to look in the mirror and see a stranger.

I'm not making that trip. Nether should any of the rest of us, and if any of you are thinking of it, I don't want to know you.

This is our Nation, and it's composed of families. Our families. We are not doing them any good service by stirring this pot. None of us can live up to our familial responsibilities from a hospital bed, a jail cell, or a grave site.

Think what you want, do what you must, but remember our families, and let it be the other guy who pushes the issue. Leave the cockfight via the nearest door, nothing to see here.

Does rhetoric kill? You betcha.
