This is very true. I see it often, one controversial post designed to push just the right buttons. We recognize most of these people, but they have learned who to rile up. Thankfully, often the moderators recognize them also and sometimes their time here is short.
Is the Hide owned by a Canadian media company like so many other gun/survival/etc forums?
Those companies didn't buy up these forums because they are such ardent supporters of things like the 2A. So I expect that at some not too distant point in the future those companies are going to suddenly find they no longer have an interest in such subjects.
The Hide is it's own entity, owned solely by Frank.

In order to invoke the 25th amendment the VP needs a majority of cabinet level officers to sign a letter that she sends to both houses.
Then it takes 2/3 of both houses to remove the POTUS.
If I were a Republican Congressman or Senator, my vote would be no on removing the POTUS.
My message to the Democrats would be; "You wanted him and now you are stuck with him." Furthermore, I would also quote them on the subject of election fraud; "You haven't shown us any evidence..." that the POTUS is incapable of performing his duties in office.
My rationale for voting no on removing him from office would be answered with this question;
Which would you rather have in office; an dip-shit old man with dementia or an evil whore genius?

A suggestion if I may. Make the Bear Pit accessable only to members with a certain amount of posts and non-searchable via Google/etc. Another forum I'm on did that for their free-for-all sub forum.

Many forum owners have been made offers they couldn't refuse to sell out to those media companies. Companies that as I pointed out have no real interest in the subject matter.
When we get a Sub-Forum dedicated to Poutin or Tim Hortons Best Donut than your question would be within the realms of reality.

Here's the first paragraph of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment:
"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."
The "other body as Congress may by law provide" has not been formulated yet. Nancy Mussolini was trying to establish that "body" with her bill.
She was trying to make it look like she was aiming that legislation at Trump. That was a smoke screen.
They know, like everyone else, that Biden will screw up in public and say something like; "I just shit my pants." Then they will remove him and install the DNC pick of suck-em-dry Harris.
It should also be said that, according to the 25th Amendment, if Biden sends a letter to Congress that he is totally capable of performing his duties then both houses have to meet and then they vote. They need 2/3 for removal. "Come on man."

Frankly I believe based on the comments by AOC and others on the left regarding retaliation against Trump voters etc will only drive more people away from the Democratic party. Hell, I figured the damn riots for sure would have killed their chances because it was basically being condoned by the Dems but apparently I was wrong. I don't doubt in the least bit they cheated and hopefully it will come to light. Unfortunately many people didn't vote for Biden per se, they voted against Trump. Critical thinking is a rare commodity among many people today and they cast their vote emotionally without any concept of the unintended consequences of doing so. No doubt many of those who voted for Biden benefitted by Trump's policies but lacked a skeptical mindset and believed too much of the propaganda from the media.
Should Biden ultimately be sworn in it will be a pyrrhic victory for the Democrats as long as the Republicans hold the Senate. He will be torn apart by the progressives in the party if he doesn't turn hard left and it will fracture the party. If he acquiesces to them he will loose the House and seats in the Senate as moderates leave the party. The down ticket elections were a disaster for the Democrats and in 2022 Trump will not be on the ballot. Democrats know they have to get their agenda through in the next two years and can only do so by picking up enough seats in the Senate to allow Harris to cast the tie breaking vote. That is why the Georgia runoff elections are so critical.

I work in the restaurant business depends on where you are, my place it tends to be 80% percent Trump a couple not interested one way or the other and about 4 really pro Biden. Ownership was simply a passing question as to whether or not it had been bought up by the Canadians as so many others have been. Not sure why that created such hate and discontent.
As for the "suggestion" it was made in response to a post about the owner being worried about posted content being used to shut the board down. So there is obviously some (and it's valid) concern on the matter. I merely outlined what another forum I am on did to alleviate that real concern. I was in no way demanding that such be done here, just threw it out there as an option which the owner is obviously free to take or leave. If I am banned for simply providing some information because it "wasn't thought of here" than so be it.
I will say nothing further on the matter.
