Since I obtained the LMTMWS I have l looked high and low for an Extended Bolt Release and Magpul was not an option. I found this one made by Phase 5 Tactical that works quite well and wanted to share this with everyone if you were in need of an extended release.
The EBRv2, shown in the first picture, is their standard release, the EBRvs-SC is for the Side Charger AR's and has a shorter head on the release. If you order a release make sure you get the one for the 556 not the DPMS EBRv2-308, LMT uses the identical release in both of their firearm models.
I personnaly use the EBRv2-SC with the shorter head.
When removing the 1/16" allen screw one thing to know is that it is set with "RED" loctite, this information is from Gene at LMT. Gene recommended using a heat gun or propane torch and heat the area enough to loosen the loctite and remove the allen screw. It will not damage the finish of the firearm. When reassemblying I choose Blue loctite and let it set for 24 hours before working the charging handle and release.
