Waiting on new rifle due about Fall or so. Been stocking up on loading equipment but lots on backorder. Wanting to know neck O.D. of loaded round for 6.5 creedmoor with both nosler and hornady brass to get the correct bushings for redding FL type s dies and to know for comparison of new rifle chamber specs when I get it. Thanks!

The .288 bushing will yield too much neck tension with the nosler brass. Im using a .290 bushing for nosler and .289 for hornady. Your brass neck thickness may vary. Best option is to order .288-.291

Huh.

Seems the hornady brass varies a bit. I'm just getting a newbie friend up and running - was at his house just last night. His loaded factory ammo mics between .2875" and .2885" across the neck.

A .288 or .289 bushing wouldn't do it for his brass.
