H4350 is part of Hodgdon's Extreme line and is very temp insensitive so it gives more consistent velocities over a larger temperature range. It's what I use in my Creedmoor.
.260 Remington load
Rifle: LMT MWS with 20" SS barrel (factory barrel from LMT)
Bullet: 123gr Lapua Scenar
Powder: 45 gr H4350
Brass: Rando brass, .308 necked down.
Primer: Remington 9 1/2 LRP
MV: 2949 out of the three rounds I shot.
No pressure signs showing, and it still won't fully cycle the gun.

Has anyone tried the Lapua 136 Grain Scenar L's yet? I recently purchased a 260 GAP and am beginning the process of gearing up for reloading in 260 and was just curious of your thoughts on it.

Gun- Accurate Ordnance built 6mm creedmoor, brux 1-7.5 AO Contour, Stiller Tac30 action.
H4350- 42.6gn, CCI 250, COAL=2.7650, 20 thoujump, 105gn Hybrids 5 shot avg- 3152 with 6fps ES (this is higher than most need to get the same velocity but its works in my gun) Tested in 20* weather and 75* with same results
H100V-41.6gn, CCI 250 , COAL=2.7650, 105gn Hybrids, 5 shot avg- 3158 with 4fps ES (this has became my go to powder now, Even at a lower load it still easily pulls 3100fps and with the hottest load tested pulled 3380Fps which is stupid fast for a 6mm Creedmoor) Tested in 40* weather and 75* weather with same results. I will see how this one does in the summer months.
Both of these shoot easily in the low 1's with me being sloppy. Verified on paper at 100, 300 and 450 and on steel out 1000.

I use both the Senar L 136gr and the Senar 139gr, but load the 136gr L 0.001 longer. With 136L got 2960 fps in my 26" DTA barrel with 43.3gr H4350 and no pressure signs. 139gr was 2710 fps with same barrel and load. I anneal and FLS after every 3 firings using premium Nosler and Lapua brass. Up to 10 reloads now with only a few loose primer pockets in the Nosler brass ONLY! Good luck. My favorite round.
That's what the MagnetoSpeed said. I found that hard to believe myself, but we were hitting 12" square steel over 80% of the time with our 2 DTAs at 900 yards. I tend to shoot the 139gr. more and very concistent while not being very temp sensitive!
Did a little more work this past weekend with R17 and 140 Hornady BTHP's. The gun seems to like the combo, but it's finicky with the 243 brass until it's fireformed to the chamber. Picking up a good bit of case capacity and blowing the new brass out to fit really make it shine.
I found some decent accuracy early on with the new brass and 40.8gr but it wouldn't repeat on a subsequent range trip using the new 243 brass necked up, everything above that produced results from bad to horrid so I worked down the other way. I went from 40 back up to 40.6 in .2r increments and I think there is something to be had around 40.2, which would be fine for just blowing the cases out. MOA-ish will get me by there for just hitting steel at the range.
At the same time, I decided to work up from 40.8 to 42gr in some formed brass and see what there was to be had. I think I've got a pretty decent node there between 40.8 and 41.2gr, so I'm going to investigate this further. Note the "hit by brass" note on the 41.2 load, jackass beside me decided to stand up and shoot his Kriss. First round ejected the brass and smacked me right in the glasses as I was breaking the shot.......asshole.
Granted the results are nothing spectacular, but neither is the rifle. Just an untouched R700 action with an AAC barrel chopped to 20" and some good glass in a decent stock. It would reliably do .7 MOA with H4350 and 140's, but I guess they ran out of the lot of Unicorn farts they blessed the 4350 with. R17 was my next best choice with such a "short" barrel, but it's looking like I should have tried it sooner.

Berger 130 vld with 44.5grains of h4350 and CCI 200 on my 260 REM AAC barrel gets me 1/2 moa or less at 3009fps. This was on Remington cases, I have gotten better groups on my Lapua cases, but forgot got my chronograph that day.

Looked through the whole thread and didn't see much for the 260 with Berger 140 hybrids. Anyone have a good load with H4350, Varget, Hybrid 100V, or H1000?

Let my 15 year old son zero my new PM11 on my 260 DTA. Load was 142 SMKs over 42.5gr RE-17, in Lapua brass with CCI bench rest primers.
8 shot confirmation group @ 100 metres was .620 of an inch, which included a shot he pulled. I walked away from the firing point as I was never going to replicate that. Trouble is he now no longer wants his .308 AW. He must have a DTA of his own!

I finally got my 260 together and ran load dev. for it. It's a Browning A Bolt micro hunter in a standard L.O.P. stock. They did a special run of these for Grice Gun shop.
