Nosler Brass
Burger 150gr VLD's
H1000 - 56.5gr
CCI 250's
OAL 3.445" makes this a single shot rifle as they willnot fit in my mag

Using a Caldwell leadsled, I've seen an average of .65" five shot groups using a worked remmy 710.

Any speeds on the 90gr pills. I'm sure they move out.

Re: Loads for 270win

Win brass
WLR primers
130gr Hornady SST
59.5gr H4831sc

This was a bughole load in my rifle, it shot VERY well. For 150gr bullets, drop back about 2 grains of powder.

Re: Loads for 270win

I'll post a few from my Howa 1500. These loads are over book max, so work up to it.

100 grain Hornady SP (great deer/hog round!!)
53.3 grains of IMR 4064 (over book max!!)
3498 avg fps.
Rem brass
Fed 215 primer
Seated long to the lands.

130 grain Hornady SST
55.5 grains of IMR 4350
3190 fps avg
Mag primer
Seated long to the lands.

135 SMK
50.0 grains of IMR 4350
2998 avg fps.
Fed 210 primer
Win brass
I used this load for long range to 1000 yards, but lost accuracy from 800+. 700 and in worked great. Not bad for a stock $300 Howa.

Not sure, I don't have a Chrono. Data on Hodgdon's site says around 3,600 FPS. Should be moving pretty good.

This is an old posting, but I'm new here and found this and thought I could contribute.
