I have a summit open front climber, an API and loggy bayou lockons that I use for deer hunting. In the past I have used pole spikes to climb with in conjuction with my lock ons. I went hunting this weekend on public ground and was told not to use the pole spikes, so I hauled in 16ft climbing sticks and the loggy bayou stand about two miles on foot. After arriving where I wanted to hunt I was soaked with sweat and pantin like a dog in heat. I may have been better off with the 20lb climber, but I sure like the lock ons. What do yall like better, climbers or lock ons and what brand/model? Thanks.
