Hell I know all you guys are 1000+ yard shooters so this is close for y'all, but I've been spoiled with close up hogs for the last couple of years. This guy seemed a long way out there to me I really thought over 200 until I lasered him the next day.

Things always look farther down-range @ night . That's a good shot in that grass on a coyote . 177 yard ' in the Night ', is respectable .
@ Night I dont think I have had to take a Coyote that far that range but maybe twice in 6 years . Really is a good shot for Dog slinking around in the grass & night .
.

That's a great shot! I have only ever shot 2 yotes further than that and one was in the day. Most of my yote shots are about 25 yards for some reason. Live targets with some distance is where that W1000 really shines.

It can really see far out there that's for sure. I always tried to get within 50 yards at night before, now I'm taking more shots at 100 yards plus. But I still like to take the shot within 100 if possible.

Night, 95% of the time I always get them called-in 100 yrd. and closer . Missing really sets bad with me with dirtying-up the area for future calling, so I dont take long shots .
Last night I was out in fresh hayed fields & had good view of anything that moved for several hundred yards. But no need to taker a long shot . I see them & they cant see me, so no reason to not 'try' calling them-in for a close shot . Am going out in about 4-hours for some calling because most field area's here are getting there 1st cutting of the year & like to see where the traffic is .
.

Have not called in a year, I spot and stalk them. But it is funny you say that was going to call that night and my foxpro wouldn't turn on. This ranch is fairly large, and as you can see wide open once the grass is low again its easy to spot them.

Last night was ridiculously close and No Laser need to range... She charger-in & I squeezed off shot @ no more than 30 feet .
The 2nd one I called ( same stand ) in was less than 100 yrd. but bolted just before I could set & pull ( i think) because It must of got a whiff of the corpse I dropped & just let lay about 20 minutes before it slinked-in to the call .

$5k that's a lot better than 8k what I saw on Amazon. Who has them for 5. I guess none of these come with any kind of warranty or repair facility?

I got mine at Ident markings, it's my understanding that Ident, Mod Armory, and I^2 technologies bought the entire program from Raytheon. It came with a year warranty and they have all the spare parts.
