I feel that politics for the last 5-10 years have convinced a certain group of people (including you) that if people are irritated with them then they must be principled truth-tellers who refuse to be sheep. The reality is you're just not coming off as a very pleasant person and people are disagreeing with you because you posted inflammatory nonsense that seems to be divorced from reality.

About the same... I think Lone Peak Arms was founded in 2014, Impact was 2015?

They weren't alone, a few other smiths dropped them. Tangential, but didn't Defiance bring some of their prices back down?

Clayton Smith not selling Caprocks anymore?

He might be doing some that I'm not aware of. But I know he isn't taking on any new OEM. We approached him and he said he was too busy. Would love to have him OEM for us.

Damn, I never thought that stating my personal findings and opinions on a gun forum would get so many feelings hurt. What do you stand to gain by trying to make my opinion inferior to yours? I care about someone not knowing any better and reading you matter of factly stating that Lone Peak is less consistent and doesn't work as well as Impact. When the truth is they are just about the same in every category. In the future, you would do well to articulate your opinion better. Something like "I have owned both, and I prefer the Impact, for XYZ reasons." Not just saying they are a copy (they aren't) and they aren't as consistent or as popular.....without qualifying that it's your opinion or articulating reasons why you think your statement is true.

The bright side is that after tripling down I think most will see it's not an objective observation.
