Long action mag for Saum rounds?

Will a standard aics LA mag work fine with a 6.5/7 saum?

You should be good to go. I run a CIP length AICS mag on my SAUM and other than being a little longer than necessary, its perfect.

If 300WM magazine, I believe you have to mill out a couple of the ribs on the side of the magazine.

You don't need to mill anything on a 300wm AICS mag for the saum but you will have to open the lips up a little bit. I use 338LM AICS magazines and they work without any modifications.
